Amelia Coastal Con Fan Art Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Term:
The Contest begins October 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. and ends January 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Entries must be submitted using the online entry form on the Amelia Coastal Con website. Artwork submission does not include admission to the convention. Purchasing a ticket does not improve chances of winning.

2.Eligibility:
The Contest is open to all individuals 16 years old and older. All Entrants at least 16 years old, but under the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they live (a "Minor") must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to register for, submit an Entry, and participate in the Contest.

3.Entry Submission Requirements:
Submissions must be done through our online form and must be no more than 1MB in size and no more than 1080 x 1080 px in dimension.

Depiction of nudity is not allowed in Amelia Coastal Con Fan Art competition. All characters in your artwork are required to have complete coverage of breasts, genitals and buttocks.

Graphic depictions of sex, gore and violence are not allowed in this competition.

Your Art Work must not contain words or images that are racist, obscene or derogatory. This includes Ahegao, Swastikas or other Nazi imagery.

Artificial Intelligence or AI generated work is not permitted for the purposes of this contest. If we feel that your work has been generated with use of AI we may contact you for additional evidence of authorship.

It's up to the sole judgment of Coastal Con as to whether submitted Artwork can be entered into our competition. We reserve the right to reject any work we don't deem suitable for any reason and without explanation.

4. Judging:
Entries will be judged on the art piece’s interpretation of the theme, originality, and composition/technique. All decisions of the judges are final. Contest winners will be notified via the email address provided at the time of entry.

5. Social Media Use:
By submitting your work you agree that Coastal Con can use it for marketing and promotional material. This includes but is not limited to promotional posts on our Social Media such as Facebook and Instagram, our electronic newsletter and printed material such as posters and fliers.

6. License
By submitting an Entry, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and irrevocably grants Coastal Con royalty-free right and license to publish, reproduce, or publicly display your Entry in whole or in part, in connection with this contest and in any Amelia Coastal Con Fan Art gallery in any media format.

7. Prizes:
All prizes are awarded “as is” and non-transferable. No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption of the Prize is permitted, provided however that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value should the advertised Prize become unavailable for any reason. The Selected Entrant cannot assign or transfer Prize to another person or business.

8. Personal Information
Names, email addresses, and social media handles of Entrants to this Contest will be used for the purpose of contacting Entrants regarding Submitted Artwork and to notify the winners of the contest. In addition to the above purposes, we store your personal data included in emails sent or received by us for archival purposes, which is for our legitimate interests in keeping an archive of our general correspondence.
